Job summary

Pacific National Exhibition is seeking an Event Duty Manager to support the Operations Team in delivering seamless event experiences across concerts, festivals and tradeshows at Hastings Park in Vancouver. The role requires coordinating with management, clients and staff to ensure adherence to safety, policies and guest service standards.

You will manage event day deliverables, supervise staff, and contribute to post-event debriefs while maintaining strong vendor and partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Experience working in fast-paced event settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and decide quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Event Manager in executing a wide range of PNE events, including concerts, outdoor festivals, sporting events, community events, film shoots and tradeshows.
• Maintain positive relationships with production managers, tradeshow producers, concert promoters and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all operational plans are followed on event days and act as venue representative for client requests and issues.
• Coordinate with partners, clients and internal teams on event design and delivery.
