Job summary

Seventh Heaven Event Catering is hiring on-site Event Chefs and Cooks for on-site events across the GTA. Flexible roles include freelance, full-time, and part-time positions with award-winning culinary team culture.

Competitive pay ranges from CAD 22 to CAD 35 per hour, based on experience and position, with year-round work and benefits for full-time staff. Training and growth opportunities are available in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional culinary experience; event or catering experience is a plus.
• Ability to work solo or lead small teams depending on event scale.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute menus for events ranging from 10 to 1,000+ guests.
• Lead or support a kitchen team during on-site setups.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation.
• Collaborate with chefs, planners, and service staff for smooth execution.
• Pack, transport, set up, and break down mobile kitchens.
