Alberta Infrastructure is responsible for delivering about one quarter of the Alberta government’s Capital Plan, which addresses the provincial infrastructure needs of Alberta’s population that support key social programs and services and economic development.
The Ministry designs, builds, manages, and maintains government-owned and operated facilities, and collaborates with other ministries to ensure that school and hospital infrastructure meet the needs of Alberta’s population. Infrastructure also provides accommodation services and manages a large portfolio of owned and leased facilities while maintaining fiscal accountability and optimizing value for Albertans.

Reporting to the Facilities Coordinator, this position will assist with the daily operations required to maintain various labour, trades and contracted activities at Government Centre. This position will be responsible for assigning and monitoring the work of in-house employees, wage staff, and summer students. This position will administer, coordinate and monitor contract specifications and various activities of contractors providing services to the site. Through positive and effective communication, the incumbent will also assist and provide various services for special events, while ensuring staff, clients and visitors are provided an attractive, clean and safe environment.
