Job summary

Sienna Senior Living in Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for a permanent part-time evening position. The role involves assisting residents with medications, treatments, and daily care to support wellness and comfort in a supportive community.

You must hold a current RPN license with the College of Nurses of Ontario, a valid BCLS certificate, and a Medication Administration Certificate, with at least one year of geriatric nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate.
• Current Medication Administration Certificate.
• Minimum of one year experience in geriatric nursing, healthcare, or rehabilitation as an RPN.
• Must pass the Vulnerable Sector Check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by the Physician and in accordance with standards.
• Document and follow up on concerns and complaints from clients, families, or team members.
• Promote client self-care, wellness, and preventive education.
• Complete assessments, care plans, and required documentation within timeframes.
• Support unregulated care workers with guidance, training, and education.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
