Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare in Sarnia is seeking compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our community-based team. You will provide personal care per care plans, ensuring emotional, physical, and safety needs are met for clients in various facilities and home settings.

Shifts are casual, with weekday evenings 5:00 PM–10:00 PM and every other weekend 1:00 PM–9:00 PM. Training, travel compensation, benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: PSW diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication in English (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• TB test result required and references available.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per care plan ensuring emotional, physical comfort and safety.
• Perform skin, hair, mouth care, bathing, positioning, feeding and medication reminders.
• Observe and document client conditions and report changes to supervisor.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and device security while documenting data.
