Job summary

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our home care team. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with daily living activities, and follow individualized care plans in clients’ homes across Cobourg and area.

Applicants should have a PSW certificate, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel locally. Bayshore emphasizes safety, quality, and client-centered care within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Personal Support Worker Program.
• Solid knowledge of community nursing principles and delivery of personal care within scope of practice.
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle to commute.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care per care plan and ensure emotional, spiritual, physical comfort and safety.
• Perform duties per provincial PSW scope, including feeding, mobility, hygiene, and basic wound care.
• Observe and document client conditions; report changes to supervisor.
