Job summary

You will line-manage daily activities, coordinate resources in real time, and report on performance metrics while maintaining high hygiene and quality standards in a chilled food environment.

Qualifications

• Operational warehouse experience.
• Experience with hygiene procedures and equipment.
• Experience working with standard operating procedures.
• Understanding Health & Safety legislation.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• A proactive and flexible attitude in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operatives to meet customer demands.
• Manage day-to-day warehouse activities and hands-on duties.
• Plan resources for shift coverage and on-time task completion.
• Detail daily briefs and allocate duties.
• Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Ensure equipment is safe and well maintained.
• Comply with SOPs, temperature checks, equipment checks, stock rotation.
• Undertake MHE duties as required and perform safety checks.
• Assist with stock takes and waste reduction.
• Carry out disciplinary procedures per company policy.
• Report issues during site walks and complete handover reports.
