Job summary

Centre de services scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys - CSSMB is seeking a pipefitter to maintain and repair piping systems across its school facilities. The role is hands-on and supports the daily comfort and safety of hundreds of students and staff.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, including a late shift from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM to 11:15 PM, with a start date of 2026-07-08. A diploma in Plumbing and Heating, a journeyman card, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Professional studies diploma in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent recognized by authorities.
• Valid construction journeyman card or valid journeyman qualification certificate.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace piping.
• Ensure proper maintenance of piping, faucets, valves, etc.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace piping;
• Ensure proper maintenance of piping, faucets, valves, etc.;
• Install refrigeration, lighting, and gas cooking appliances;
• Install, replace, repair, and connect piping for steam, hot water, or gas heating appliances;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

• Professional studies diploma in Plumbing and Heating or hold a diploma or a certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority;
• Valid construction journeyman card or valid non-construction journeyman qualification certificate;
• Valid driver's license.
