Job summary

Centre de services scolaire Marguerite-Bourgeoys (CSSMB) is seeking a skilled pipefitter to service its school facilities in Montreal. The role involves hands-on work to restore systems, modernize installations, and ensure reliable operation of plumbing, heating, gas, and refrigeration.

Work schedule is Mon-Fri, with evening shifts; start date 2026-07-08. Candidates should hold a Plumbing and Heating diploma or equivalent, journeyman cards, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent recognized.
• Journeyman card or valid qualification certificate.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace piping.
• Ensure proper maintenance of piping, faucets, valves, etc.
• Install refrigeration, lighting, and gas cooking appliances.
• Install, replace, repair, and connect piping for steam, hot water, or gas heating appliances.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Job description

Schedule: 38.75 h / week
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and from 8:30 PM to 11:15 PM
Start date: 2026-07-08

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace piping;
• Ensure proper maintenance of piping, faucets, valves, etc.;
• Install refrigeration, lighting, and gas cooking appliances;
• Install, replace, repair, and connect piping for steam, hot water, or gas heating appliances;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

• Professional studies diploma in Plumbing and Heating or hold a diploma

or a certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority;

• Valid construction journeyman card or valid non-construction journeyman qualification certificate;
• Valid driver's license.
