Job summary

Geosam Capital in Laval, Quebec is seeking a skilled heating equipment installer for a temporary, on-site role. You will perform installation, inspection, commissioning and repair of oil and natural gas heating systems, including piping and related devices for fluid distribution and heat production.

The ideal profile includes a DEP in plumbing and heating, CCQ pipefitter journeyman with heating installation, TAG-1 gas appliance cert, a valid Class 5 license and SST safety training; 4-day work

Qualifications

• DEP in plumbing and heating required.
• CCQ pipefitter journeyman with heating installation or equivalent.
• Heating qualification outside construction or TPT qualification accepted.
• TAG-1 gas appliance technician certification required.
• Class 5 driver’s license (Québec) required.
• SST safety training completed.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, commission and repair heating equipment.
• Handle piping and devices for fluid distribution and heat production.
• Maintain safety and quality during installations and maintenance.

STATUS: Temporary

SALARY: 38.63$ / hour

SCHEDULE: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (36 hours per week)

WORK MODE: On-site

WORK LOCATION: 1489 CUNARD STREET Laval H7S 2H8

The challenges that await you

Perform various installation, inspection, commissioning, and repair work on oil and natural gas heating equipment, including piping, appliances, and other devices necessary for the distribution of fluids and/or the production of power or heat.

The ideal profile for us

• Hold a diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in plumbing and heating;
• Must hold a CCQ pipefitter journeyman qualification certificate with the mention of heating appliance installation or a heating qualification certificate outside construction and a technical process piping qualification certificate (TPT);
• Must hold a gas appliance technician qualification certificate (TAG-1);
• Must hold a class 5 driver's license compliant with the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec;
• Must have training on safety for construction sites (SST).
