Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to direct the development and implementation of activities in the production area, ensuring goals for production, quality and cost are met. This role oversees staffing, scheduling, training, and performance management of staff on the evening shift (4:00 pm – 12:00 am).

The role requires a university degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of related experience, with a focus on reducing costs, improving quality, and driving

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years’ related experience.
• Experience directing development and implementation of activities in production areas to meet goals, quality and cost objectives.
• Experience managing a team, including staffing and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the operations functions to improve quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Direct subordinates to achieve assignments using established guidelines, procedures and policies.
• Monitor daily operations of a unit or sub-unit.
• Develop and implement production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency and material supply.
• Support transition of new products (NPI) into sustaining production.
• Interface with customers and suppliers on technical issues.
• Develop standard operating procedures for operations group.
