Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a Master Production Scheduler to create and manage production and shipment schedules for a complex Configure to Order program. You will liaise with Engineering, Sales, Production and Shipping to align resources and drive on-time delivery.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience, with strong analytical, communication, and ERP/MRP proficiency. Knowledge of FIFO, capacity planning and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated master schedule for a complex Configure to Order program using demand forecasts, sales data, material supply and capacity
• Act as a liaison between sales, production, procurement, and engineering to align resources and materials with schedules
• Track progress, analyze performance metrics (like on-time delivery), identify risks, and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in the closing of aged WIP and work order variances
• Ensure optimal flow and first-in-first-out (FIFO) through the shop
• Balance workload across work centers
• Prepare status reports, create dashboards, and communicate schedule updates to stakeholders
• Use data to drive process improvements and ensure efficient use of capacity
• Assess and implement techniques to plan, schedule, control, measure and evaluate production operations
• Monitor and report changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies
• Communicate production schedule to staff promptly
• Various other duties as required

Job Purpose

The Master Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and managing all production and shipment schedules. This role assembles the master schedule based upon the business, shipment, inventory, and production plans and serves as a primary point of contact for and liaison with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Shipping departments.

• Develop integrated master schedule for a complex Configure to Order program using demand forecasts, sales data, material supply and capacity.

Other Requirements

Other Information

• The compensation range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 annually.
• This position is for an existing vacancy.
