Job summary

Bethany Care Society in Calgary seeks a part-time Health Care Aide to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. You will assist with activities of daily living, document observations, and support resident independence within the defined scope of practice.

This role requires Grade 10 education and Alberta-registered HCA credentials, English proficiency, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education and Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate are required.
• Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) is required.
• Previous Health Care Aide experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a physically and mentally demanding environment.
• English language skills (read, write, speak) are required.
• Strong observation, communication and problem-solving skills.

• Document care and observations to the nurse promptly.
