Job summary

Shelly’s Indigenous Bistro, an Indigenous-owned restaurant and catering company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver. You will ensure safe, timely delivery of food orders for takeout, delivery, catering, and events, while also supporting packing, staging, and light kitchen-related tasks.

The role requires a Manitoba driver’s licence, reliability, and the ability to work evenings and weekends during high-demand periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders safely, accurately, and on time.
• Verify order accuracy before departure.
• Maintain proper food temperature and packaging integrity during transport.
• Provide professional, respectful customer service at delivery locations.
• Follow routes efficiently and safely.
• Drive per traffic laws and company standards.
• Keep vehicle clean and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Support catering setup, transport, and event drop-offs.
• Carry catering trays and boxed orders safely to delivery sites.
• Assist with order packaging and staging during non-delivery periods.
• Portion sauces and side items as directed.
• Restock takeout supplies and packaging materials.
• Support light prep and organizational tasks under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery staging areas.
• Assist with evening organization, cleaning, and closing tasks.
• Communicate delays or issues promptly.
• Comply with safety, food safety, and operational standards.
• Support teamwork across departments as needed.
