Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking a part-time delivery/driver to service York region clients. You will pick, pack and deliver food and beverages to events, coordinating with the Shipping Supervisor and team to ensure timely, accurate orders.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, good driving record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication. On-site meals are included and opportunities for future event work exist.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GTA and surrounding area; general food knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients and managers; good driving skills and clean abstract; strong organizational skills.
• Professional, courteous and neat appearance; responsible and multitasking capability.

Responsibilities

• Picking food and beverage items and assembling orders accurately.
• Packing orders into the delivery vehicles in an orderly manner.
• Delivering hot and cold foods, on platters or in chafing dishes.
• Delivering beverages including cambros or cases of drinks.
• Picking up non‑disposable platters/equipment after client events.
