Job summary

John Bear Buick GMC is seeking Automotive Service Technicians to repair new and certified pre-owned vehicles at our busy St. Catharines dealership.

The role involves collaborating with service advisors and managers to identify service needs, recommending maintenance, and guiding customers through the service process for a high level of satisfaction. We offer the highest flat rate in the region, a strong benefits plan, and ongoing GM factory training.

Qualifications

• 311S Mechanics License required.
• Diesel or Transmission experience is an asset.
• Valid Class G Driver's License with clean driving record.
• GM experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Inspect motor vehicles in operation, road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service.
• Provide recommendations on work performed and future repair requirements.
• Review work orders and discuss work with supervisor.
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
