Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking an experienced Estimator to join the Pre-Construction team. You will support new and ongoing project growth, work on large-scale building and infrastructure projects, and collaborate with proposals teams to secure bids and ensure success.

You will interpret specifications, perform quantity take-offs, and cultivate relationships with trade partners and clients. The role offers a hybrid work model and growth opportunities in a national leader in construction.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of relevant estimating experience in the construction industry.
• A University Degree, College Diploma or certificate in Engineering or Construction Management, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
• Experience building relationships with industry and project stakeholders.
• A comprehensive understanding of the bid process cycle.
• Critical research skills used for identifying and analyzing project-specific expenses.
• Expertise in quantity take-offs to guarantee accuracy in contract specifications and pricing.
