Job summary

Community Fire Prevention Ltd in Port Coquitlam is seeking a motivated Estimator to join our estimating team. The role focuses on converting inspection reports into clear quotations for efficiencies and repairs, coordinating with field staff and vendors, and preparing proposals for clients.

You will work closely with business development and operations to ensure smooth project execution, accurate pricing, and exceptional client satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have computer literacy and ability to navigate various software systems.

Responsibilities

• Convert inspection reports into a presentable format for clients by reviewing, editing, and finalizing data.
• Create quotations based on noted deficiencies/repairs on inspection reports and/or work scopes.
• Create the quotation/proposal cover letter.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for pricing as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate with Field Technicians to verify information on inspection report and/or work scope to ensure Quotations are accurate and all-encompassing.
• Follow department guidelines and metrics as advised to achieve company strategic goals.
• Assist and support internal departments as required.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Operations regarding special or urgent requests.
• Communicate critical information to colleagues pertaining to vendors, products, equipment, pricing, and competitors.
• Maintain clear and open lines of communication with internal teammates to contribute to an efficient workflow process.
• Adhere to and promote the company's core values, processes, policies and Occupational Health and Safety protocols.
• Additional duties as they may arise.

We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to join our Port Coquitlam Team as a full-timeEstimator!AsamemberofourEstimatingTeam,youwillgainpracticalknowledgeoflocalFire&LifeSafetyregulations,ourservices,andourcustomercentricapproachtobestsupportourclientsandinternalteams.AsanEstimatoryouwillberesponsibleforcreatingquotationsfordeficienciesandrepairsresultingfromannualinspections,servicecalls,repairvisits,andregularmaintenancevisits.Youwillcollaboratecloselywithourbusinessdevelopmentandoperationsteamstoensureseamlessprojectexecutionandclientsatisfaction.Thispositionoffersanexcitingopportunitytocontributetothegrowthandsuccessofourorganizationwhileworkinginadynamicandcollaborativeenvironment.

Objectives&ResponsibilitiesoftheEstimator:
