Job summary

Cannara in Montreal seeks a Master Data Specialist to ensure accuracy and governance of core ERP data across the organization. You will manage items, BOMs, UoMs, lots, vendors, and customers while enforcing naming standards and data completeness.

This role collaborates with Supply Chain, Production, Sales & Marketing, Quality, and Finance to support reliable planning and reporting. Responsibilities include data quality monitoring, audits, and cleansing, plus training end-users and coordinating

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a Tier 1 ERP environment (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
• Experience managing large SKU portfolios with high data complexity.
• Bilingual in English and French with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain master data (items, BOMs, UoM, lots, vendors, customers) in the ERP
• Implement and enforce data governance standards, naming conventions, and attribute completeness rules
• Monitor data quality KPIs (completeness, duplicates, inactive data, misaligned attributes)
• Support new product launches (NPI/NPL) by creating BOMs, routings, and item masters
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales & Marketing, Quality, and Finance to ensure correct master data setup
• Perform regular audits and cleansing activities to prevent data degradation
• Train end‑users on proper data usage and request processes
• Partner with IT and ERP administrators for system improvements and automation of data flows
• Support WMS implementation and process mapping, ensuring alignment with ERP data governance

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Tier 1 ERP environment (preferably Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Proven experience managing large‑scale SKU portfolios with high data complexity
• Analytical and detail‑oriented mindset, able to detect inconsistencies and risks
• Understanding of supply chain and manufacturing
• Proficiency in Excel / Power Query / Power BI for data validation and reporting
• Bilingual (English/French) with strong written and verbal communication skills to train departments inside and outside of Québec within Canada.
