Job summary

CCM Hockey is seeking a data management professional to create, update and govern master data across ERP and other systems. The role emphasizes data quality, governance and collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced sports equipment environment.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in data management, advanced Excel and experience with Epicor ERP, along with strong analytical and communication skills in both French and English.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in data management, master data, or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of data quality principles and governance concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills (mandatory).
• Experience with ERP systems (Epicor).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bilingual (French and English).

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain master data across multiple systems (ERP and others).
• Ensure timely processing of data requests according to established SLAs.
• Validate requests and ensure compliance with data governance standards and procedures.
• Monitor and update existing data to ensure ongoing accuracy and completeness.
• Act as a key point of accountability for the quality and integrity of assigned data domains.
• Perform data quality checks and audits, identifying inconsistencies and issues.
• Proactively prevent data issues by applying and reinforcing best practices and standards.
• Support the enforcement and continuous improvement of data governance rules.
• Analyze data trends and recurring issues to identify root causes.
• Provide recommendations to improve data quality, processes and workflows.
• Support the development of data standards and contribute to process optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve how data is created, used and maintained.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (business, IT, operations).
• Educate stakeholders on data standards and the impact of data decisions.
• Support projects, including testing activities and data preparation.
• Assist users by retrieving and analyzing data as needed.
