Job summary

David Aplin Recruiting seeks an experienced ERP Manager in Kingsville, Ontario to lead development, configuration, support, and ongoing improvement of the ERP environment. You will guide a team of developers/analysts, align with business stakeholders, and drive platform modernization and integrations.

The role requires hands-on ERP experience, strong leadership, and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions across finance, supply chain, and manufacturing contexts.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of ERP development and/or configuration experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring ERP developers/analysts.
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture, data models and development frameworks.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience developing ERP integrations via APIs, web services, EDI.
• Knowledge of ERP testing methodologies (unit, integration, UAT).
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with upgrades, migrations, or platform transitions.
• Understanding of processes across finance, supply chain, inventory, warehouse, and manufacturing.
• Familiarity with version control and code repositories.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of ERP professionals, providing technical guidance.
• Establish development standards, code reviews, and documentation practices.
• Drive ERP strategy and modernization initiatives aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate ERP platforms, modules, add-ons, and integrations.
• Design, configure, and customize ERP solutions to meet requirements.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain system documentation and configuration guides.
• Lead system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support incident resolution.
• Ensure ERP availability, performance, and security in collaboration with IT.
• Develop data migration processes and support data quality/MDM initiatives.
• Collaborate with users on reporting and dashboard development.
• Provide end-user training and ongoing technical support.
• Maintain data protection and security best practices.
