Job summary

Acquird.io is seeking an IT Manager who blends hands-on systems administration with strategic leadership. You will lead a small team, own ERP, network, and Microsoft 365 domains, and directly influence IT decisions while staying close to operations.

Based in Ontario with occasional site travel, you will onboard an MSP, manage budgets, and drive security, backup, and compliance across our North American operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT systems administration or infrastructure roles.
• 3+ years managing people.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in IT or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph).
• Comfort writing SQL queries against business databases.
• Strong documentation habits: runbooks, integration maps, change logs, and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT roadmap and budget with senior leadership.
• Oversee ERP/CRM support and upgrades (Epicor Prophet 21, Salesforce).
• Manage infrastructure, networking, and backups across sites.
• Run Microsoft 365, Azure, and device management.
• Coordinate external MSP for first-response and after-hours support; act as escalation point.
