Job summary

Avanade Inc. in Canada seeks an ERP Functional & Technical Consultant to design, configure, and deliver ERP solutions across Finance, Supply Chain, and HR.

You will lead requirements workshops, translate business needs into functional designs, configure components, and oversee data migration and testing. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to ERP best practices and Avanade delivery standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery workshops and analyze end-to-end business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, and HR functions.
• Translate business needs into functional solution designs, fit-gap analyses, and configuration decisions.
• Configure ERP components including: master data entities, forms, views, and business rules.
• Workflow automation, approval processes, and business process flows.
• Act as the functional authority on projects, advising clients on ERP best practices and roadmap implications.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on integrations, customizations, and data migration.
• Translate functional requirements and identified gaps into functional design documents.
• Define data migration strategies, template definitions, and work with customers through data migration execution.
• Create and manage work items in project tracking tools (e.g. Azure DevOps or equivalent).
• Define and execute UAT strategies, test scenarios, and validation plans.
• Deliver training, enablement, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
