Job summary

Humber River Health in Toronto is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department on a temporary full-time basis. The role requires rotating 12-hour shifts, covering days, nights, and weekends, with supervision from the Manager, Emergency.

Key qualifications include current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, 3–6 months of medical/surgical experience, EMERGENCY exposure preferred, and in-hospital certifications such as BCLS, ACLS, TNCC/PALS/ENPC as required.

Qualifications

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.
• Minimum 3-6 months medical/surgical experience required; 6-8 weeks training provided.
• Current Emergency experience preferred; ICU experience is an asset.
• BCLS certification upon hire.
• ACLS/TNCC/PALS/ENPC required or completed within specified timelines.
• Coronary Care I & II certificates preferred or completed within 1 year of start date.
