Job summary

University Health Network is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department at Toronto General Hospital. This permanent part-time role covers day, night, weekends and stat holidays within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, adhere to professional standards, and pursue ongoing education. The position supports a job-sharing agreement and requires strong communication with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• BCLS certification required
• Emergency/critical care nursing experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and decision making skills
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CNA Emergency Nurse certs preferred
• Wage range and hours reflect collective agreement requirements

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate, collaborative and competent care in the Emergency Department
• Ensuring practice aligns with professional standards and ethical frameworks
• Pursuing continuing education to meet patient population needs
