Job summary

JPMorganChase in Canada is seeking an experienced Trader within High Touch Trading to execute equity trades, deliver market insights, and act as a trusted advisor to institutional, private bank, and private equity clients. You will lead trading activities with a strong focus on efficiency, compliance, and junior trader mentorship.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in equity trading, deep market knowledge, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in equity trading or finance roles within markets, with a proven track record in a high touch environment.
  • Understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and market microstructure.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

As a Trader within High Touch Trading in Canada, you will bring strong analytical skills and work closely with institutional, private bank, and private equity clients. You will execute equity trades, deliver market insight and trading strategies, and act as a trusted advisor while ensuring efficient, compliant execution across the trade lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities
Trade Execution & Market Insight
