Job summary

Henry Schein Canada, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Service Technician - Installation in Winnipeg, MB. You will install and maintain dental equipment at offices across the Winnipeg area, test performance, and manage repair records to support vendor warranties and replacements.

The role requires strong interpersonal and technical troubleshooting skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a field-based setting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary program in medical/electrical field is an asset.
• Experience in a service/equipment environment in the dental industry is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with non-technical clients.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proven time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Promptly install and maintain dental equipment used in dental offices.
• Inspect and test equipment, components and assemblies using various tools and instruments.
• Create, update and maintain repair records, return defective parts to vendor for warranty replacement.
• Provide quality, innovation and high standards of performance to achieve superior customer satisfaction.
• Organization and proactivity is required, in addition to strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, providing strong collaboration and communication.
• Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing tasks and are able to manage preconstruction efforts while adapting to shifting project priorities.
