Job summary

Jardeg-Construction is recruiting Equipment Operators to join Heartland Constructors Inc. at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available with camp accommodations and flights from Edmonton or Calgary.

This temporary assignment runs from early September to early October 2026. Rotation is 6 days on, 1 day off with overtime; flights and camp are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification or Interprovincial Red Seal required.
• Valid driver’s abstract.
• Pre-access drug and alcohol test completed; mask fit required.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification desired.
• Firewatch certification beneficial.
• Basic rigging knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Jardeg is recruiting Equipment Operator to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Turnaround. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The shift rotation is 6 days on, 1 day off during the turnaround with overtime. Camp accommodation and charter flights (from Calgary or Edmonton) are provided by the company.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as Sep 7th 2026 and lasting as late as Oct 7th 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Position Qualifications:
