Equipment Operator – Ultrasonics & Vacuum Truck Services

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasonic cleaning systems, wash pads, and related equipment following established procedures
• Operate company vehicles and equipment, including vacuum, combo, and water trucks as needed
• Complete all required job documentation, reports, and time tracking accurately and on time
• Perform routine inspections and maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and work areas
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving mechanical or operational issues
• Work safely at all times, participating in daily safety meetings and completing required hazard assessments and documentation
• Handle, store, and dispose of chemicals and waste in compliance with environmental and site requirements
• Coordinate daily work activities and prioritize tasks in collaboration with supervisors and clients
• Support a positive team environment through leadership, mentorship, and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Represent the company professionally, communicate effectively with clients, and help identify additional service opportunities

Qualification and Competencies

• Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract with Air-brakes
• Experience with ultrasonic cleaning systems is considered an asset
• Ability to be clean-shaven when required for respiratory protection (PPE compliance)
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach
• Demonstrated commitment to a safety-first culture
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with a high level of accountability
• Professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment up to 40 lb
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
