Job summary

Clean Harbors Edmonton AB is seeking Equipment Operators to safely operate and maintain heavy equipment on remediation projects.

Responsibilities include operating loaders, excavators, skid-steers, backhoes, forklifts, and high-pressure tooling, with emphasis on safety and accurate paperwork. Competitive wage starts from $29/hr, Company paid training, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class 5 driver's license and be able to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Experience operating heavy/high-pressure equipment is required.
• Able to work in all weather conditions for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of equipment including loaders, excavators, skid-steers, backhoes and forklifts.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.

Job description

Clean Harbors Edmonton AB is currently looking for Equipment Operators to join the team. This position is responsible for safely operating and maintaining heavy equipment on remediation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Operate a variety of equipment, including: Loader, excavators, skid-steers, backhoes and forklifts;
• Operate a variety of high-pressure tooling (manual and automated), including High pressure pumps, dump gun, specialty tooling for exchanger cleaning, 3D/2D, hydrolazer and hydrotesting equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment through preventative maintenance;
• Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class 5 driver's license is required;
• Ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset;
• Previous experience operating high pressure equipment required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
• Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time;
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to complete a drug and alcohol test.
