Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join a safety conscious team. Drivers operate a range of equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste between generators and Clean Harbors facilities.

Responsibilities include driving to sites, loading/unloading, inspections, and coordinating with dispatch. Requirements include a valid Class 1 or 3 license, ability to operate manual transmission, and willingness to undergo background checks and

Qualifications

• Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license.
• Ability to operate manual transmission.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and various units (vacuum, hydro vac, tankers).
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather and in a safety focused environment.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites.
• Loading and unloading hazardous and non-hazardous goods safely.
• Transporting waste to disposal facilities.
• Performing pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Communicating clearly with dispatchers.
• Performing roadside repairs as needed.
• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie, AB is looking for Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious team!

Our experienced EO/Drivers operate; Hydro Vacs, Wet Vac Trucks, High Pressure Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Combo Units, Chemical Units, trailers, tankers and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites;
• Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods;
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to a Clean Harbors or 3rd party disposal facility;
• Performing pre and post trip inspections;
• Communicating clearly with dispatchers;
• Doing roadside repairs as needed;
• Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license;
• Ability to operate manual transmission required;
• Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair;
• Experience operating equipment such as Combo, Vac, High Pressure, Chemical Unit, Tanker, Hot Oiler, dry ice or core cleaning is an asset, onsite training can be provided;
• Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;
• Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
