GE Vernova, Inc. in Canada is seeking a Planning & Scheduling Manager to lead project planning and scheduling across the Canada region. You will guide a team in an EPC environment, ensuring milestones are met and schedules align with objectives.

You will oversee ITO and OTR activities, coordinate with project teams, and provide clear project controls reporting to leadership and customers. Onsite work at Markham 3 days/week is expected, with strong emphasis on governance and continuous

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in project planning and scheduling within an EPC environment.
• Previous experience in a Lead Project Controls or comparable leadership role.

Mansioni

• Lead and develop the planning and scheduling team, setting priorities and supporting team performance.
• Establish and maintain integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and closeout.
• Support project planning and controls activities throughout ITO and OTR phases.
• Work closely with project managers and functional teams to establish scope, milestones, sequencing, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify risks and delays, assess impacts, and recommend recovery actions.
• Lead schedule reviews, updates, critical-path analysis, and progress measurement.
• Coordinate with cost control teams to support cost estimating, forecasting, and schedule/cost integration.
• Prepare and present clear, accurate project controls reports for project teams, management, and customers.
• Ensure consistent planning and scheduling practices, data quality, and reporting across projects.
• Support change management, risk and opportunity assessments, and project performance reviews.
• Promote collaboration and continuous improvement across the project controls function.
