Your Contribution

As an Environmental Technician, you will collaborate with the Hygiene, Health, and Safety Team on a temporary contract lasting 4-6 months. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Sampling, analyzing, and organizing samples for analysis
  • Recording field data and preparing activity reports
  • Maintaining field equipment
  • Traveling to various worksites locally and occasionally provincially or nationally
  • Supporting multidisciplinary projects with field and office tasks
  • Handling administrative tasks like timesheets and invoicing
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Applying health and safety rules
Your Profile
  • 0-2 years of experience in hazardous materials assessment is a plus but not required
  • College diploma in Environmental Engineering, Earth Sciences, or related field is a plus but not required
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license required
  • Eligibility for Security Clearance
  • Ability to learn quickly, work independently and in teams
  • Strong communication skills and software proficiency
  • Commitment to health and safety
