The Opportunity

The Maintenance Technician Level 2 is a part of a building operations team and will assist in performing duties related to maintenance and repair within a retail mall or complex of buildings. The Maintenance Technician Level 2 may operate a building of modest size and complexity as it relates to building systems and tenant demands.

What You Will Do

• Scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Occupational health and safety.
• Interact with tenants.
• Management of hazardous materials.
• Lighting and plumbing.
• Roof maintenance.
• Housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, snow shoveling, pressure washing, window washing, and other related duties.
• The Level 2 Technician requires a broad skill set, attributes, and knowledge.
• Maintain operation records, files, and documentation accurately and timely, following established procedures.

• Manage environmental hazards promptly.
• Consider sustainability in equipment replacement decisions.

Who You Are

Time Management : Effectively manage time, work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, embrace change.

Technical Qualifications : Experience in commercial / retail building operations is an asset but not required.

IT Skills : Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Police Clearance : Criminal verification check required.
