Job summary

Humber River Health is hiring a Temporary Full-time Program Support Representative to work with the Environmental Services Program at the Wilson Site in Toronto, Ontario. The role is 18 months with days and occasional evenings/weekends, and an hourly rate of $31.735-$39.694.

Responsibilities include handling calls, preparing documents and minutes, maintaining records, purchasing functions, meeting administration, and supply management within defined budgets.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a certificate in Office or Business Administration or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of three years of related experience in a large complex organization, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and responds to a variety of enquiries. Forwards messages as appropriate.
• Prepares and types correspondence, memoranda, minutes, confidential reports, and other documents. Prepares spreadsheets, graphs, flow charts, statistics, and updates databases as required.
• Maintains a comprehensive filing and records management system and other office flow procedures, including a desk manual of office procedures and information specific to the duties handled by the position and the department.
• Performs purchasing functions for the department within established parameters.
• Prepares and distributes the agenda for meetings with related background information; takes and transcribes minutes, noting action and follow-up required.
• Orders and monitors the use of office supplies for the department to maintain a level consistent with functional and budgetary requirements.
