Compass Group Canada (Beaver) Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to lead housekeeping, laundry, and facility maintenance in a long‑term care home.

You will ensure a safe, clean, compliant, resident‑focused environment and actively manage building operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems. The role requires hands‑on leadership, staff training, budgeting, and regular client engagement.

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience in healthcare, facilities, environmental services or related.
• Experience in long‑term care or healthcare facilities management preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a highly hands‑on role requiring regular movement throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for housekeeping, laundry, and facility maintenance in a long‑term care home.
• Oversee facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Lead training sessions and annual training calendar at site for housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Prepare monthly summaries of the Compass Quality Assurance Program and report to leadership.
• Conduct weekly quality assurance audits and follow‑up with staff and management.
• Review routines, programs, and systems for housekeeping and laundry to drive quality improvements.
• Ensure the Compass Health and Safety program is in place with trained first aiders and an active OH&S committee.
• Lead client meetings and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
