About the Role :

Skyline Recruitment is seeking an Environmental Project Manager – Hazardous Materials on behalf of a well-established environmental consulting firm for their Ontario offices (Ottawa & Mississauga). This role is ideal for an experienced environmental consultant who enjoys a mix of field and project leadership responsibilities .

Key Responsibilities :

Perform occasional fieldwork and manage hazardous materials projects .

Oversee project management , ensuring deliverables stay on schedule and within budget .

Prepare and manage proposals, bids, and tenders .

Mentor and develop junior staff .

Draft and review technical reports to ensure compliance with regulations .

Build and strengthen client relationships —preference for candidates with an existing client network .

Qualifications & Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in Environmental Consulting & Hazardous Materials (Designated Substances) .
  • Strong Project Management background within the industry.
  • Hands-on experience with budgeting, proposals, and scheduling .
  • Expertise in hazardous materials assessments & regulatory compliance .
  • Proven ability to mentor junior staff .
  • Excellent technical report writing skills .
  • Bonus : Candidates with an established client base will be prioritized.
