Job summary

WSP is seeking an Environmental Project Manager, Pipeline Specialist to lead and oversee major pipeline and linear infrastructure projects across Western Canada. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from early planning through reclamation, ensuring environmental commitments are met while fostering responsible infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading environmental construction monitoring and compliance programs for major projects.
• Experience delivering planning, construction, post-construction monitoring and reclamation phases.
• Knowledge of federal and provincial environmental legislation and permit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale environmental construction monitoring programs from initiation to closeout.
• Oversee scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Direct multidisciplinary field teams across multiple construction spreads.
• Develop execution strategies, governance and reporting systems for compliant delivery.
• Serve as primary client contact, managing communications and contractor coordination.
• Identify and mitigate environmental and construction risks for the client.
• Drive project financial performance through forecasting and margin optimization.
• Mentor project managers and environmental professionals
