Job summary

LB LNG Constructors General Partnership (LB LNG) invites applications for an environmental labour position in Squamish, BC. You will help monitor equipment, manage dewatering and erosion controls, and support spill response while upholding safety and environmental standards.

The role involves 10-12 hour days with a 14 days on / 7 days off rotation. Local residents are preferred; travel and site allowances may apply. Comprehensive benefits are provided through CLAC.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Previous experience with ESC, dewatering, and spill response is desirable.
• Must complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and provide a 3-year driving abstract.
• CSTS-2020 Fundamentals or Site Ready BC certification is required.
• Local proof of address documents must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site equipment to prevent environmental contamination.
• Support safe operation and maintenance of diesel pumps and dewatering systems.
• Inspect and maintain ditches, drainage systems, and water diversion measures.
• Assist with spill prevention, containment, and cleanup activities.
• Install and maintain erosion and sediment control measures.
• Support sediment pond operations and water management activities.
• Assist construction teams while ensuring environmental compliance.
• Perform general labour duties including material handling and site cleanup.
• Complete other tasks to support project requirements.
