Job summary
LB LNG Constructors General Partnership is seeking environmental laborers to support safe, high‑quality construction activities near Squamish, BC. You will help minimize environmental impacts while following environmental, safety, and quality standards, and you will participate in erosion control, spill response, sediment management, and site cleanup.
The role requires physical work, rotation of 14 days on/7 days off, 10–12 hour shifts, and there is no camp.
Qualifications
- Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather.
- Experience with ESC, dewatering and spill response is desirable.
- Pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
- Valid Driver's License with clear 3-year abstract is required.
- CSTS-2020 Fundamentals or Site Ready BC certification.
Responsibilities
- Monitor site equipment to prevent contamination.
- Support diesel pumps and dewatering systems operation.
- Inspect drainage and erosion control measures.
- Assist with spill prevention, containment and cleanup.
- Support sediment pond operations and water management.
- Perform general labour and site cleanup.
- Ensure environmental compliance with project standards.
