Position Summary
The EHS Lead provides overall guidance for EHS goals and objectives. Effectively implement Company's EHS Management System. Integrates environmental / safety compliance and management systems into manufacturing operations. Champions operations excellence by showing employees how their actions connect to Company's EHS vision and create long term value. Provide training, meet day to day environmental / safety requirements, performs internal audits, drive continuous improvement of the company's environmental / safety management system. Provides a good foundation and solid understanding of major environmental and safety regulations and represent the facility during environmental /safety agency inspections.
The EHS Lead works to prevent workplace accidents and promotes health and safety awareness through education and leadership. Implement internal policies and procedures that align with health and safety regulations to create a compliant and safe work environment. Take proactive measure to identify potential workplace hazards and improve existing conditions. Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
