What Will You Do?

  • Act as a project engineer for water and wastewater projects across Ontario, overseeing investigations, operational troubleshooting, analysis, process engineering design, technology assessment, and preparation of technical memoranda and reports
  • Contribute as a process engineer to mechanical and / or hydraulic design during water and wastewater infrastructure construction
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to provide input on budget preparation and support business development by liaising with clients to enhance reputation and foster relationships with municipal clients
  • Engage in relevant professional societies within the industry
  • Work alongside multidisciplinary team members to gather, consolidate, and coordinate technical information for projects and proposals
  • Provide supervision, mentoring, guidance, and technical support to engineering and technical staff

5. What Do You Bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or relevant field)
  • Registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in water and wastewater engineering, with a strong focus on the Ontario markets water treatment facilities / plants
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and finalize technical, process, and design tasks for water projects
  • Proven experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
  • Experience with business development activities, such as creating proposals and managing resources for municipal clients
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, project management software, and industry-specific tools
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize work and pivot to meet project deadlines
