Job summary

Egis Canada is seeking an Environmental Engineer - Geoscientist to join our growing Environmental team in Ontario. You will support major infrastructure projects with excess soils management and hydrogeology, coordinate ESAs, remediations, and reporting, and contribute to winning proposals.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in Science or Engineering, a P.Eng. or P.Geo license (or eligibility), and 5+ years’ experience coordinating ESAs, hydrogeology, and remediation work.

Qualifications

• University degree in Science or Engineering.
• Licensure as a P.Eng. or P.Geo. in good standing with PEO or PGO (asset).
• 5+ years’ experience in ESAs, hydrogeology or remediation.
• Experience coordinating large environmental projects across Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental support and coordination for infrastructure projects across Ontario, focusing on excess soils and hydrogeology.
• Manage/coordinate geo-environmental projects (Excess Soils; APUs) and perform hydrogeological assessments.
• Lead Phase I/II ESAs, remediations, and waste site monitoring.
• Prepare proposals, manage budgets and supervise fieldwork, reporting and data analysis.
