Job summary

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) in the Elk Valley region seeks an Administrative Assistant, Environment to support the Environment department’s compliance and operations. You will coordinate meetings, manage files, and assist with budgeting while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

The role requires a certificate/diploma in administration, strong MS Office and SharePoint skills, and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in administration or related discipline, or relevant schooling/experience.
• Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• General administrative duties including organizing and supporting day-to-day tasks; coordinating meetings, training, and events.
• Manage and lead document management and the department's SharePoint site.
