Job summary

Blue Mountain Resort is seeking an entry-level Groomer I to help maintain ski and snowboard terrain at Ontario's largest four-season resort. The role focuses on grooming greens and blues, using standard equipment to meet high standards and schedule adherence.

This seasonal, full-time position runs December through March with 12-hour overnight shifts. A valid G license and independence are required; previous grooming experience is a plus and safety practices are emphasized throughout training.

Qualifications

• Valid G License in good standing.
• Able to work independently.
• Previous grooming experience an asset.
• Mechanical skills an asset.
• Knowledge of Resort winter terrain an asset.

Responsibilities

• Groom primarily green and blue runs and assist with more difficult terrain when needed.
• Perform pre-shift circle checks and post-shift housekeeping duties.
• Recognize and report equipment issues and property damage.
• Work with GPS system to improve decision making and efficiency.
• Identify and report safety issues such as lighting, signage, padding and surfaces.
• Maintain open communication with on-hill teams including Snowmaking and Patrol.
