Job summary

Desjardins exclusive agent network is hiring an Insurance Account Representative in Mississauga/Oakville area. This role focuses on growing the business through value-based conversations and delivering exceptional customer experience.

You will develop leads, present suitable insurance products, and work with an agent to meet marketing goals while maintaining high service standards for clients.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred across outside, inside, retail, or telemarketing.
• Proven ability to meet sales goals/quotas.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and customer service orientation.
• Ability to multitask and present to potential customers.
• Current Property & Casualty license (must have or be able to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service including inquiries on insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claims and billing.
• Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing goals.
