We are seeking an experienced and strategic Enterprise Architect to guide the development and delivery of enterprise-wide IT architecture, governance frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the creation of enterprise standards, coordinate architecture decisions across business and technical teams, and ensure alignment between IT strategies and business goals.

This role requires deep experience in governance, business architecture, information management, application architecture, technology planning , and cloud infrastructure .

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise architecture (EA) strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain EA standards, frameworks , and reference models (e.g., TOGAF, Gartner, Zachman).
• Provide expert advice on application modernization, legacy system transition , and enterprise integration strategies.
• Ensure consistency across data, technology, and application architecture domains .
• Collaborate with solution architects, project teams, and senior stakeholders to provide architectural oversight.
• Document and communicate current state and target state architectures , including gap analyses.
• Oversee architecture review processes and maintain architectural governance.
• Support enterprise initiatives related to cloud adoption, cybersecurity , interoperability, and scalability.
• Advise executive stakeholders on technology standards, risks, and investment prioritization.

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, including 5+ years in enterprise architecture roles .
• Strong experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Gartner, Zachman).
• Proven ability to define and implement architecture governance and standards .
• Experience leading application modernization, digital transformation , or cloud strategy initiatives.
• Strong facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• TOGAF Certification or equivalent industry credentials.
• Experience in government or public sector digital initiatives .
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS , or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of information management, data governance, and integration patterns .
• Exposure to EA tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Bizzdesign.
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise risk architecture.
• Hybrid or onsite work arrangements may be available.
• Standard working hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM CST
