OpsGuru, a Carbon60 Company, seeks an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer to embed within customer environments and architect OpenAI-powered data platforms. You will own end-to-end delivery—from data discovery to API integration and model tuning—driving enterprise value at client sites.

The role emphasizes data modernization, AI workflow design, and governance with a strong focus on customer outcomes and technical leadership. Remote-first with periodic travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data/AI architectures and enterprise solutions.
• Masters OpenAI platform APIs, Azure OpenAI, and related tooling.
• Strong executive presence to engage with client leadership.
• Proven ability to translate business needs into AI-enabled data pipelines.
• Willingness to travel to client sites on a quarterly cadence.

Responsibilities

• Deploy into customer environments and own end-to-end OpenAI delivery.
• Modernize data platforms and refactor legacy systems for embeddings.
• Apply spec-first engineering with OpenAI tooling to generate pipelines.
• Architect production-grade AI pipelines with multi-agent orchestration.
• Lead governance, MLOps patterns, and client enablement in enterprise settings.
