Job summary

NorQuest College is seeking an Enrollment Expansion Coordinator to drive targeted enrolment growth within the Early Learning and Child Care certificate and diploma programs. You will liaise with internal offices and Indigenous/community partners, coordinating admissions strategies and program delivery.

Qualifications

Career Opportunities: Enrollment Expansion Coordinator (1821)

NorQuesters are difference makers and we're searching for someone dedicated to making a difference to join our faculty of Arts and Sciences team as an Enrollment Expansion Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Dean, School of Applied Sciences and Arts, the Enrollment Expansion Coordinator will be an individual prepared to have honest conversations and demonstrate compassion as a liaison on behalf of Early Learning and Child Care program, and maintain close communication with the Chairs of Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC), the Associate Dean, interested Indigenous and community partners, as well as other sectors of the college, to meet targeted enrolment within the Early Learning and Child Care sector programs.

The Enrolment Expansion Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational leadership for the effective coordination of enrolment expansion within the Early Learning & Care Certificate and Diploma Prorgams in the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.

This position plays a critical role in creating, implementing, and advising on targeted enrolment growth pathways and processes that meet the identified needs and aspirations of Indigenous and community partners, while ensuring financial stewardship, sustainability, and compliance.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Liaise with various college areas and leaders (ie. Office of the Registrar), as well as external Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners, on intentional and responsive pathways and admissions and enrolment approaches into ELCC prorgams within the Faculty of Arts & Sciences.
  • Communicate and coordinate enrolment and admissions priorities and aspirations of Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners regarding the ELCC Enrolment Expansion prorgam to FOAS leadership.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of relationships/partnerships, and serve as the primary point of contact regarding the ELCC Enrolment Expansion Program.
  • Work collaboratively on developing responsive plans for the delivery of ELCC programming that meets the identified needs of Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners.
  • Contribute, ccoordinate, and lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of ELCC Enrolment Expansion projects and initiatives based on community-partner feedback and insights to build a foundation for future enrolment initiatives across the faculty.
  • Brief the Dean, Associate Dean, and Chairs of Early Learning & Care on sensitive and/or time-sensitive issues for direction, and respond safely and respectfully to students and community partners.
  • Develop and implement an engagement plan for Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities to increase awareness and accessibility of the ELCC Enrolment Expansion, as well as services and supports available to interested/prospective learners in the Certificate/Diploma programs across the faculty.
  • Identify and develop responsive and sustainable delivery and cost models based community partner identified needs, aspirations, and realities.
  • Contribute to the development of sustainable wise practices, tools, and resources that support the responsiveness of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences in relation to Indigenous and non-Indigenous community partners needs and aspirations within higher education.
  • Develop,recommend, and implement Faculty-wide process improvements within enrolment and admissions in relation to the needs of Indigenous peoples and communities while working collaboratively with other business areas in the faculty.

  • A high level of sound and independent judgment,reasoning, and discretion.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other team members from other areas of expertise within the organization .

SALARY:AUPE Band Level 8 | Advisor II | $2,590 - $3,364 bi-weekly reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience.
