Job summary

Outlier, an AI training platform owned by Scale AI, is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, compare image and video pairs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all from home.

Work on your own schedule with a freelance/1099 contract. Earn up to USD $15 per hour plus incentives and weekly payments, with growth opportunities for higher rates depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and natural conversation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to review closely.
• Ability to think on your feet and discuss realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based reviews.
• Ability to decide clearly when options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live English conversations with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images/videos and judge prompt adherence.
• Inspect outputs to spot issues like artifacts, motion, text errors, or audio misalignment.
• Write specific explanations in English detailing what was observed.
